Dry skin means that there is dead skin cell build up on the surface of your skin. This top layer can become very thick and hard and finally come off in its own ‘little sheets’ or flakes. For dry skin people, this hard top layer often will make it nearly impossible for moisturizing agents to penetrate. For oily skin people, this top layer will trap oil creating a confusing feeling of oily and dry at the same time.

The best remedy for this is to exfoliate (or remove) part of this top layer away.

To exfoliate away this dry layer is one of the most common and easiest things to achieve in a facial. We use gentle live fruit enzymes or chemical peels to remove this hard layer. Depending on your skin type we then can infuse a rich moisturizing antioxidant serum with chrysanthemum and calendula or if oily and acneic an effecting bacteria killing gel or water holding hydrating serum.
